Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual company sales and market share objectives; execute corporate sales/marketing direction and the district sales strategy through the team.
- Build and maintain customer relationships with key executives and decision makers; respond timely to customer needs; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage/purchasing patterns; update contract information as required.
- Provide regular feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance challenges early and create plans to address gaps; partner with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to terminations.
- Analyze team performance and sales/territory data; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness measures (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach/counsel direct reports to maximize performance and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures; demonstrate high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share best practices; liaise with home office/district to identify and resolve issues.
- Assess organizational change management needs and apply tools to manage change impact.
- Create a high-performing environment emphasizing professional development and accountability; balance strategic vision with immediate results.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets; cascade/implement direction from Regional Director.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience (equivalent combinations considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare sales management District Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience.
Requirements/Skills:
- Travel 60β70% (including overnight).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid driverβs license and acceptable driving record; authorization to drive a company leased vehicle or authorized rental.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehension, reading, writing).
Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000β$222,000.
