Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual sales and market share objectives; execute district sales strategy.
- Build and maintain customer relationships with key decision makers; respond to customer needs; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information.
- Provide timely feedback to sales representatives; identify performance challenges; create plans to address gaps; work with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions.
- Analyze team performance and sales/territory data; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, execution, proper use of funds/tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach and counsel direct reports to maximize performance and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures; demonstrate high ethical and professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share best practices; serve as liaison for issue identification and resolution.
- Assess and manage organizational change management needs.
- Create a high-performing environment focused on professional development and accountability; manage operating budgets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales management experience (combination of education/experience considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Ability to travel 60β70% (overnight included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driverβs License and acceptable driving record; authorization/ability to drive a company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare sales management District Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience.
Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000β$222,000.
