Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives; execute corporate sales/marketing direction.
- Implement the district sales strategy/business plan through the team.
- Build and maintain customer relationships with key executives/decision makers; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information.
- Provide timely feedback to sales representatives; identify performance gaps early and create improvement plans; work with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to terminations.
- Analyze team and sales/territory performance; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach/counsel direct reports to maximize performance and professional development.
- Ensure Company compliance with applicable policies and procedures; maintain high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; promote best practices; act as liaison for issue identification/resolution.
- Assess and manage organizational change needs.
- Build a high-performing environment emphasizing accountability and professional development; drive both long-term strategy and immediate results.
- Exercise fiscal control of allocated operating budgets; cascade Regional Director direction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales management experience.
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Ability to travel 60β70% (overnight travel).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driverβs License with acceptable driving record; authorized ability to drive a Company leased or rental vehicle.
- English proficiency (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare District Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience.
Compensation/Benefits (if applicable):
- Salary range: $148,000β$222,000.
