District Manager, Pain - Phoenix

Key responsibilities:
- Lead and execute the district sales strategy for the Phoenix district (Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Colorado, Wyoming).
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed Company sales and market share objectives.
- Build and maintain customer relationships; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information.
- Provide timely feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance gaps early and create plans to address them; partner with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to terminations.
- Analyze team and sales/territory data; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical execution, proper use of funds/tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach and counsel direct reports to maximize performance and development.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures and maintain high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director/direct reports; promote “Best Practices”; liaison with home office/district to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Assess organizational change management needs and manage change impact.
- Create a high-performing, accountable team environment; foster long-term strategy with immediate results; eliminate barriers.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets; cascade Regional Director direction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales management experience (education/experience combination considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Ability to travel 60–70% (overnight included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record; authorization/ability to drive a Company leased vehicle or authorized rental.
- English proficiency (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).

Preferred:
- Prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare sales management District Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience.

Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000–$222,000 (exact compensation varies by skills, experience, and location).
