Key responsibilities:
- The Ohio Valley district includes key markets in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia.
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet or exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives; execute corporate sales and marketing direction within the geography.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships; respond to customer needs; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and update contract information as required.
- Provide regular, candid, timely feedback; identify performance challenges and create plans to address gaps; work with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to and including terminations.
- Analyze team performance and sales/territory data; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain talent; coach, counsel, and develop direct reports; ensure accountability.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures; maintain high ethical and professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; compile and share best practices across the district; serve as liaison to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Assess and apply organizational change management tools as needed.
- Create a high-performing environment focused on professional development, accountability, and results; foster a winning, solution-oriented vision.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales management experience (combination of education/experience considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Ability to travel 60β70% (overnight included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driverβs License and acceptable driving record; authorization/ability to drive a Company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).
Preferred qualifications:
- Prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare sales management District Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience.
Salary range: $148,000 - $222,000 (exact compensation varies by skills, experience, and location).
