District Manager, Pain - Northeast

Key responsibilities for this role include:
- The Northeast district includes key markets in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, and Pennsylvania.
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet or exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives; execute corporate sales/marketing direction within the geography and implement the district sales strategy.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships with key executives, decision influencers, and decision makers; respond to customer needs; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage/purchasing patterns; update contract information.
- Provide regular feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance challenges and create plans to address gaps; work with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to terminations.
- Analyze team performance and territory data; track sales force effectiveness measures (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain talent; coach and counsel direct reports to maximize performance and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Company policies and procedures; maintain high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share best practices; serve as liaison with home office/district to identify and resolve issues.
- Assess and manage organizational change impacts.
- Create a high-performing, accountable team environment; manage budgets; follow direction from Regional Director.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales management experience (combination of experience/education considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Ability to travel 60–70% (overnight travel included).
- Must reside in district geography; valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Authorization/ability to drive a Company leased vehicle or authorized rental.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).

Preferred qualifications:
- Prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare sales management District Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience.

Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000–$222,000.
