District Manager, Pain - Northeast

Key Responsibilities:
- The Northeast district includes key markets in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, and Pennsylvania.
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual sales and market share objectives; execute corporate sales/marketing direction and implement the district sales strategy.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships with key executives and decision makers; respond to customer needs; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information as required.
- Provide regular, candid, and timely feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance challenges; create plans to address gaps; partner with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to and including terminations.
- Analyze team performance and sales/territory data; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds, systems, and tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach/counsel direct reports for high performance, accountability, and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with applicable company policies and procedures; maintain high ethical and professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share “Best Practices”; serve as liaison with home office/district to identify and resolve issues.
- Assess organizational change management needs and apply appropriate tools.
- Create a high-performing environment; manage budgets; follow Regional Director direction regarding marketing/standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience (a combination of experience/education considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.

Preferred:
- Prior successful pharmaceutical or healthcare sales management District Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare product sales experience.
- Ability to travel 60–70% (overnight travel).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record; authorization/ability to drive a company leased vehicle or authorized rental.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).

Compensation/Benefits:
- Salary range: $148,000 - $222,000.
