Key responsibilities:
- Lead the New Orleans district sales team covering key markets in Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Louisiana.
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual sales and market share objectives; implement district sales strategy/business plan.
- Build and maintain customer relationships with key executives and decision makers; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage and purchasing patterns; update contract information.
- Provide timely feedback to sales representatives; identify performance challenges early and develop plans to address gaps; partner with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to terminations.
- Analyze team and territory sales performance; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/tools).
- Recruit and retain talent; coach and counsel direct reports; drive accountability and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with applicable company policies and procedures; uphold high ethical and professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share best practices; serve as liaison with home office/district to identify and resolve issues.
- Use organizational change management tools to manage change impact.
- Maintain fiscal control of allocated operating budgets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience (equivalent education/experience considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Preferred: prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare sales management District Manager experience; experience with medical devices or other healthcare products.
- Travel 60–70% (including overnight).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record; authorization to drive a company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehension, reading, and writing).
