Key responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives; implement district sales strategy/business plan through the team.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships with key executives, decision influencers, and decision makers; respond timely to customer needs; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage/purchasing patterns; update contract information.
- Provide regular feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance challenges early and create plans to address gaps; work with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to terminations.
- Analyze team performance and sales/territory data; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain talent; coach/counsel direct reports to maximize performance, accountability, and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Company policies/procedures; maintain high ethical and professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; promote open communication; share “Best Practices”; liaison between home office and district to identify and resolve issues.
- Assess organizational change management needs and apply appropriate tools.
- Create a high-performing team environment; foster solution-oriented vision; balance strategic and immediate results.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets; cascade Regional Director direction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience (equivalent education/experience considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.

Preferred qualifications:
- Prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare sales management District Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience.

Required skills/requirements:
- Ability to travel 60–70% (overnight included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Authorization/ability to drive a Company leased vehicle or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).

Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000–$222,000.
