Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives; execute corporate sales/marketing direction and implement the district sales strategy.
- Build and maintain customer relationships with key executives/decision makers; respond to customer needs; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage/purchasing patterns; update contract information.
- Provide regular feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance challenges and create plans to address gaps; partner with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to and including terminations.
- Analyze team/sales/territory performance; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain talent; coach/counsel direct reports to maximize performance and professional development.
- Conduct business in compliance with Company policies; uphold high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share best practices across the district; serve as a liaison between home office and district to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Assess organizational change management needs and apply tools to manage change impact.
- Create a high-performing team environment; foster a solution-oriented, winning vision; balance long-term strategy with immediate results.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets; cascade Regional Director direction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience (or equivalent combination of education/experience).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare sales management District Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience.
Requirements/Skills:
- Ability to travel 60β70% (including overnight).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driverβs License with acceptable driving record; authorization/ability to drive a Company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, writing).
