Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives; execute district sales strategy/business plan through the team.
- Build and maintain customer relationships with key executives/decision makers; respond timely to customer needs; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage/purchasing patterns; update contract information as required.
- Provide regular feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance challenges and create plans to address gaps; work with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to terminations.
- Analyze team/sales/territory performance; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness measures (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach direct reports to motivate performance/accountability; counsel to maximize performance and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Company policies/procedures for self and sales representatives; maintain high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; promote open communication; share “Best Practices” across the district; serve as liaison to home office/district for issue identification/resolution.
- Assess organizational change management needs and apply tools to manage change impacts.
- Create a high-performing team environment emphasizing development/accountability; foster solution-oriented vision; balance long-term strategy with immediate results.
- Exercise fiscal control over allocated operating budgets; cascade and follow Regional Director direction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience (combination of education/experience considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Ability to travel 60–70% (overnight travel included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driver’s License; acceptable driving record; authorization/ability to drive a Company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing, comprehension).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare sales management District Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare products sales experience.
Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000–$222,000.
