Key Responsibilities:
- The Dallas district includes key markets in Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
- Develop, enhance, and increase district sales performance to meet/exceed annual company sales and market share objectives; execute corporate sales/marketing direction and implement the district sales strategy.
- Build and maintain customer relationships with key executives and decision makers; respond to customer needs; conduct key account reviews; monitor product usage/purchasing patterns; update contract information.
- Provide regular feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance challenges and create plans to address gaps; partner with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to and including terminations.
- Analyze team performance and sales/territory data; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain talent; coach/counsel direct reports to maximize performance and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies/procedures and maintain high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; share best practices across the district; liaise with home office/district to identify and resolve issues.
- Assess organizational change management needs and apply tools to manage change impact.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets; cascade regional direction within the district.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience.
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare sales management District Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare product sales experience.
Required Skills/Requirements:
- Ability to travel 60β70% (overnight travel included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driverβs License with acceptable driving record; ability to drive a company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing).
Compensation:
- Salary range: $148,000 - $222,000.
