Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute district sales strategy in the Dallas district (key markets in Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas) to meet/exceed annual Company sales and market share objectives.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships with key executives/decision makers; respond to needs timely; conduct account reviews; monitor product usage/purchasing patterns; update contract information.
- Provide regular feedback to district sales representatives; identify performance gaps early and create improvement plans; work with Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to termination.
- Analyze team performance using sales figures and territory data; track and reinforce sales force effectiveness (reach/frequency, strategy adherence, tactical implementation, proper use of funds/systems/tools).
- Recruit and retain top talent; coach/counsel direct reports for high performance, accountability, and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with applicable company policies and procedures; maintain high ethical/professional standards.
- Communicate with Sales Director and direct reports; foster best-practices sharing and serve as liaison for issue identification/resolution.
- Apply organizational change management tools as needed.
- Create a high-performing team environment; eliminate barriers; balance long-term strategy with immediate results.
- Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets; cascade Regional Director direction to sales teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare product sales management experience (combination of education/experience considered).
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational, and management skills.
- Preferred: prior successful pharmaceutical/healthcare District Manager experience; medical devices or other healthcare product sales experience.
- Ability to travel 60β70% (overnight travel included).
- Must reside in district geography.
- Valid Driverβs License with acceptable driving record; authorization/ability to drive a Company leased or authorized rental vehicle.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing).
