The District Manager will drive prescriber activation, performance accountability, and disciplined execution across a defined geography.

Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, and onboard high-caliber Sales Representatives aligned to launch competency expectations.
- Provide structured field coaching via regular ride-alongs, performance reviews, and individualized development plans.
- Develop sales capability in clinical acumen, account planning, access navigation, and compliant promotional execution.
- Foster a culture of accountability, ethical behavior, collaboration, and high performance; build leadership pipeline and identify succession talent.
- Own district-level sales targets, performance metrics, and forecast accuracy; translate strategy into district business plans.
- Analyze performance data, prescribing trends, and territory insights; conduct business reviews and implement corrective action plans.
- Ensure disciplined CRM utilization and activity tracking.
- Guide territory planning and call plan optimization; ensure consistent, high-quality HCP engagement.
- Monitor leading indicators (call activity, speaker programs, adoption trends) and drive launch readiness and pull-through.
- Partner with Regional Sales Director; coordinate with Key Account Managers on IDN strategy and pull-through; collaborate with Health IT, Market Access, Marketing, and Medical Affairs.
- Ensure strict adherence to promotional, compliance, and regulatory standards; manage district budgets.
- Extensive field travel (~70%) and participation in meetings/training/launch events.

Qualifications/Experience
- Minimum 5+ years pharmaceutical sales experience required.
- Prior field leadership or formal mentoring strongly preferred.
- Specialty/rare disease/cardiovascular experience preferred; success in launch/high-growth franchises highly desirable.
