Role: Senior Nonclinical Safety Leader within Preclinical Sciences and Translational Safety at Johnson & Johnson, supporting innovative medicine projects across multiple therapeutic areas and modalities. Responsibilities: provide toxicology leadership for discovery and development stages, oversee global regulatory safety documents, contribute to risk assessments and safety pharmacology analyses, collaborate with discovery and development teams, and participate in external industry initiatives. May include future people leadership duties. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Toxicology, Pharmacology, or related discipline (Doctorate preferred), with at least 10-15 years of pharma/biotech experience; proven toxicology expertise on multi-disciplinary teams; experience with GLP studies, due diligence, and emerging modalities is preferred. Certification such as Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology (DABT) is desirable. High-Value: toxicology leadership for innovative medicines, global regulatory interaction, diverse therapeutic modalities, early to clinical development stages. Work setup: Hybrid in Spring House, PA or Cambridge, MA.
