Role: Dispatcher responsible for coordinating specimen pickups within a laboratory logistics environment. Objectives include optimizing route management, managing high-volume communications, and ensuring timely, accurate specimen delivery. Responsibilities encompass scheduling using route management software, resolving specimen issues, and balancing customer satisfaction with productivity and cost targets. Requirements: High school diploma; 2+ years in logistics or operations; valid driver's license with a clean record; familiarity with route software; strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills; ability to lift 50 lbs. Preferred: 1+ year experience in medical courier settings. High-Value: Laboratory specimen logistics, route management, high-volume coordination, and customer service. Work setup: Onsite in Chantilly, VA, with a schedule Tue–Fri 2 pm–10:30 pm and Sat 1 pm–9:30 pm; company vehicle provided with optional personal use for a fee; benefits available for employees working 20+ hours.
