Discovery Postdoctoral Fellow, saRNA Biology

Role: Postdoctoral Fellow in biomedical research focusing on gene activation therapeutics, specifically investigating small activating RNAs (saRNAs). Objectives: design and evaluate saRNA libraries targeting therapeutic genes, elucidate mechanisms of saRNA-mediated transcriptional activation, and develop evidence-based design principles for gene-activating RNA drugs. Responsibilities: conduct independent research using molecular and genomic techniques, assess saRNA activity in cell systems, perform mechanistic studies, collaborate across disciplines (RNA biology, genomics, oligonucleotide therapeutics), and communicate findings through publications and presentations. Requirements: PhD in molecular biology, genomics, biochemistry, or related fields, conferred by 2026; demonstrated research achievements; hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture, qPCR, Western blot, and gene regulation assays; strong experimental design and data analysis skills; excellent communication capabilities. Preferred: experience with genomics/chromatin assays like ChIP, RNA-seq, bioinformatics skills.
