Role: Novartis Discovery Postdoctoral Fellow in Neuroscience, focusing on TDP-43-driven neurodegeneration related to ALS and Alzheimerโ€™s disease. Objectives: Investigate early neuronal interaction networks influenced by glial environments to identify shared drug targets. Responsibilities: design and execute hypothesis-driven research using human iPSC-derived neuron-glia models; apply genomics, proteomics, transcriptomics, and multi-omics analyses; collaborate across interdisciplinary teams; communicate findings through publications and presentations. Requirements: PhD in neuroscience, biology, or related field (conferred in 2026), with proven research achievement; expertise in neurobiology, molecular/cell biology, biochemistry; experience with human iPSC neuronal/glial models, confocal microscopy, proteomics datasets. Preferred: knowledge of TDP-43 or apolipoprotein E in neurodegeneration, and protein interactome mapping. High-Value: neurodegenerative disease, ALS, Alzheimerโ€™s, iPSC models, multi-omics, hypothesis-driven research, collaboration with research units. WorkSetup: onsite in Cambridge, MA; full-time, up to three years; start date October 2026.
