Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conceive and execute experiments for target discovery, validation, and credentialing across emerging therapeutic modalities (including oligonucleotide conjugates, lipid nanoparticles, engineered cell therapies).
- Interrogate mechanism of action, biomarkers of response, and mechanisms of resistance or sensitivity for genetic medicine modalities in oncology.
- Design and execute functional and genetic perturbation experiments to nominate and credential targets using gene editing, RNA interference, and primary/engineered cell systems as appropriate.
- Analyze, interpret, and present data; contribute to cross-functional program strategy.
- Collaborate across discovery, translational, and external partner functions.
- Contribute to a safe, efficient, and rigorous workplace.

- PhD in immunology, cancer biology, molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, or related discipline; all completed requirements by Aug 2026; 5+ years lab-based experience (including graduate lab work).

Preferred Qualifications:
- Oncogenic and/or immune signaling pathway expertise; experimental interrogation of mechanisms in primary/engineered cell systems.
- Gene perturbation platforms (CRISPR gene editing; RNAiβ€”siRNA, shRNA).
- Multi-color flow cytometry (panel design/analysis).
- Molecular biology techniques (PCR, cloning, Western blot).
- In vivo experiment experience (study design, model selection, pharmacodynamic/efficacy endpoint interpretation).
- Strong organization, presentation/documentation, interpersonal/problem-solving.
- Background in immunology/immuno-oncology, immune cell engineering, or tumor immune microenvironment.
- In vivo gene delivery/modification familiarity (lipid nanoparticles, lentivirus, AAV).
- Experience with emerging modalities (oligonucleotide conjugates, mRNA therapeutics, cell therapies).
- Functional/genetic screen experience (hit triage, deconvolution, downstream validation).
