Responsibilities:
- Develop, lead, and execute the strategic engagement plan for Worldwide Immunology professional societies and associations.
- Serve as BMS strategic engagement lead; manage key society relationships for medical strategic purposes.
- Collaborate with Medical teams and internal stakeholders to create innovative society engagement strategies aligned to therapeutic area priorities.
- Plan, execute, and communicate society strategic plans internally; interface with leadership and matrix teams.
- Act as primary relationship manager: represent BMS at external meetings, make presentations, and prepare internal reports.
- Advise matrix teams; ensure alignment and resourcing to execute society plans.
- Build frameworks for society engagement; maintain regular communication to stay current on activities.
- Lead/coordinate internal decisions on company representation/participation in society initiatives.
- Develop budgets, monitor expenditures, and provide periodic reports/analyses.
- Ensure activities align with company policies and legal/regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience with professional medical societies/associations (preferred).
- BA/BSc (pharma/life sciences preferred) or advanced degree (PharmD/PhD/MD/MS) with pharmaceutical operations knowledge.
- 8β10 years in pharma and/or significant stakeholder/organizational engagement or partnerships.
- Drug development understanding (development to commercialization); immunology preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, public communication, and negotiation skills; proven ability managing complex interactions.
- Ability to innovate/analyze/solve problems with attention to detail; global travel.
