Director, Value Chain Excellence (VCEx) Innovation & Digital Intelligence (Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:
- Set the digital capability strategy for Value Chain Management (demand/supply planning, fulfillment, network design, resilience).
- Own end-to-end product and program governance (discovery through scale; ensure adoption and value realization).
- Lead “One Digital Value Chain” delivery (integrate planning/modeling/decision-support tools; prioritize core system integrations).
- Build and scale network design decision support (single source of reference data repository; simulation/scenario analysis/optimization for investment, sourcing, site selection, lifecycle planning).
- Lead “One Performance Management” (tiered performance management linking operational metrics to strategic outcomes; embed into S&OP and monthly reviews).
- Provide hands-on supply chain and systems leadership (demand, supply, production planning, inventory strategy, distribution).
- Champion modern data/analytics/engineering practices (reuse, lineage, model governance; automation with Python and SQL; partner on AI/advanced analytics).
- Lead stakeholders and change across value chain, digital/data strategy, planning, MTO, quality, deliver.
- Develop talent and communities of practice (coach team; build digital ambassador/SME network).
- Provide techno-functional leadership connecting technical solutions to operational realities.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s required; Master’s/MBA or focused degree (Engineering/CS/Supply Chain) preferred.
- Required: 10+ years relevant experience; supply chain/operations/digital transformation leadership; enterprise supply chain product ownership (roadmap/prioritization/lifecycle governance); pharmaceutical supply chain network domain knowledge; integration/operation of planning systems and end-to-end platforms; analytics orientation (simulation/AI); Python proficiency (SQL preferred); influence in complex matrix orgs; strategic mindset with execution; people leadership; financial competence aligning investments to business value and managing budgets.
- Preferred: major planning system/integration experience; cloud platforms/APIs; hands-on demand or supply planning.
Other:
- English proficiency; up to 20% travel; on-site at least 3 days/week (option for 2 remote days).
