Role Summary

Director, Value & Access Finance and Gross to Net Forecasting. Responsible for partnering with cross-functional teams to develop gross to net forecasts for specific products, owning forecasting assumptions, and driving reporting enhancements, process improvements, and scenario modeling to support financial targets.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and understand the gross to net process, inputs, outputs, interdependencies, and the impact of changes
  • Develop and produce quarterly gross to net forecasts with explanations on drivers of change versus prior forecasts, AOP, and long-range planning
  • Coordinate with demand forecasting, Value & Access, and brand finance on events that impact gross to net rates and channel mix, reflecting impacts in the forecast
  • Monitor and track claims data for government and other segments to understand changes in business mix and impacts to gross to net rates
  • Perform quarterly actuals reporting with variance analysis to forecast, prior quarter, and/or AOP with explanations
  • Collaborate with revenue optimization and controls on rebate scrubbing to minimize revenue leakage
  • Provide perspective and thought leadership on brands to help drive decisions and meet financial targets
  • Support biosimilar and innovative brand launch strategy through scenario planning and modeling
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses related to contracts, proposals, and educate partners on gross to net implications

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline (or higher)
  • Minimum of 5 years in progressive gross to net forecasting roles
  • Strong knowledge of gross to net forecasting, payer channels, and deal modeling
  • Proven business acumen in forecasting (demand, sales, gross to net) with data-driven analytical work
  • Proficiency with large data sets and Excel/PowerPoint for analysis and presentation
  • Clear communication and ability to explain complex topics to partners with varying levels of acumen
  • Agile team player with strong active listening skills
  • Working knowledge of Alteryx preferred but not required
