About This Role
As the Director, US Patient Marketing, Nephrology, you will own the development and execution of comprehensive brand strategies and plans, defining and delivering the U.S. Nephrology patient engagement strategy focused on patient activation and support.
What Youβll Do
- Develop and own a comprehensive patient activation and marketing strategy aligned with brand goals
- Lead insight generation across patient and caregiver segments to inform engagement and messaging
- Create a multi-year launch roadmap to advance awareness and increase patient empowerment
- Build and execute omnichannel activation programs for disease education, awareness, and community engagement
- Oversee patient experience design to improve understanding and promote treatment adherence
- Lead grassroots community engagement initiatives with patient organizations
- Partner to identify and reduce structural barriers to care
- Serve as internal expert on patient and consumer marketing for transplant and general nephrology
- Collaborate with Market Access and Patient Support teams for coordinated programs
- Engage with Global partners to share U.S. learnings and influence global strategy
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team responsible for patient activation
- Manage agencies and strategic partners
- Establish KPIs and dashboards to measure impact and optimize performance
Who You Are (Required)
- Bachelorβs degree required
- 10+ years of US commercial experience; 5+ years marketing/adjacent experience in pharma/biotech, including launch experience
- Experience in complex/under-developed therapeutic areas or rare diseases
- Proven integrated consumer marketing and patient activation track record
- Digital/omnichannel marketing, segmentation, and behavioral analytics expertise
- Ability to influence and lead in a matrixed environment
- Experience managing agencies and large-scale budgets

- Connected TV experience in a competitive market
