Director for New Products Marketing within US Oncology (oncology and hematology pipeline assets in development)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop US commercial strategies for pipeline assets in collaboration with global commercial and cross-functional teams.
- Integrate US commercial insights into global brand strategic plans, clinical trial planning, and decision-making.
- Guide creation of US forecasts for upcoming launches with finance/forecasting partners.
- Shape early scientific, unbranded, and go-to-market strategies (positioning, segmentation, channel).
- Ensure seamless, well-documented handoff to US launch teams as assets progress toward commercialization.
- Navigate internal and external environments to deliver exceptional value.
- Monitor market dynamics, competitive evolution, and emerging trends to anticipate opportunities/risks and guide positioning.
- Identify gaps in product/disease/customer understanding and implement plans to address them with market insights.
Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree required.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing or new products strategy within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Excellent scientific acumen and strategic thinking; proactive gap identification and resolution.
- Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills; ability to clearly articulate complex concepts.
- Proven ability to partner effectively across teams (e.g., tumor marketing, cross-functional teams, global stakeholders).
Preferred:
- MBA, PharmD, or PhD
- Experience in US oncology/hematology marketing
- Experience leading development and commercialization of new products
