Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned to U.S. business objectives.
- Define data acquisition strategies; evaluate data offerings and establish sourcing priorities.
- Design and implement a data governance framework to ensure compliant, effective data use.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Legal, Compliance, and IT to implement governance policies/processes supporting data integrity, security, accessibility, and compliance with GxP, HIPAA, and applicable privacy/security regulations.
- Identify and mitigate data management/governance risks; support audits and regulatory compliance assessments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in a related field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or similar).
- 10+ yearsโ experience in data strategy, governance, or management in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Deep knowledge of pharma regulatory/compliance requirements (e.g., GxP, HIPAA).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management; ability to influence across all levels.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-changing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masterโs degree in a related field.
- Oncology-relevant pharmaceutical data set understanding (especially for the U.S.).
- Familiarity with AI/ML and big data solutions.
- Experience in a country organization or startup.
