Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
- Co-lead integrated communications strategies across portfolio brands, late-stage pipeline assets, and launches—aligned with business priorities and grounded in audience insights and data analytics.
- Accountable for asset-level communications, ensuring integration across media, digital, internal, and stakeholder engagement channels.
- Translate complex scientific and business narratives into compelling storytelling for senior leaders.

Execution Excellence & Innovation
- Drive end-to-end communications plan execution, including budget management, with measurable impact and continuous optimization.
- Lead development of high-quality multi-channel content (earned media, social, executive platforms, internal communications) with digital-first and AI-enabled approaches.
- Use data, social listening, and AI-driven insights to refine messaging and anticipate risks.

External Engagement & Reputation
- Develop spokespeople and enhance executive visibility (e.g., LinkedIn, speaking engagements, media interactions).
- Partner with advocacy groups and external stakeholders for disease education and unbranded engagement initiatives.

Internal Communications & Culture
- Develop internal communications strategies to engage employees and support change management.
- Provide content for town halls, leadership communications, and digital platforms.

Leadership & Collaboration / Issues & Risk Management
- Lead across a complex matrix; oversee agencies and cross-functional teams.
- Lead issue planning/response; monitor trends and ensure compliance with policies, regulatory, and ethical standards.

Why you?
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Health, or related field.
- Vaccines therapeutic area experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in at least three of: strategic comms; disease awareness/branded campaigns; leadership/influencing senior stakeholders; stakeholder engagement; multi-channel content creation; issues/crisis communications.

Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree; 8+ years internal/external comms (pharma/biotech); specialty/oncology/priority TA experience.
- Experience integrating digital tools, data analytics, and/or AI into communications.
- Project management; strong media landscape knowledge; matrix influence; advise senior leaders; healthcare policy knowledge; exceptional communication skills.
