Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of strategic communications plans for the hematology portfolio, partnering with brand leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Serve as the primary communications partner for the hematology portfolio, providing strategic counsel on communications strategies, messaging, and stakeholder engagement.
- Develop and execute branded, unbranded, and above-brand communications initiatives supporting US commercial success.
- Partner with R&D Communications to communicate scientific data milestones and relevant pipeline developments.
- Elevate Genmabโ€™s US visibility and reputation through media engagement, thought leadership, and digital communications.
- Develop and execute internal communications initiatives that engage employees and reinforce US market priorities.
- Provide communications counsel to cross-functional teams and support messaging for major announcements, milestones, and corporate initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Communications & Corporate Affairs team to implement global communications strategies and narratives in the US.
- Support issues and crisis communications affecting the US market.
- Define KPIs and measurement frameworks to evaluate communications impact and inform future strategies.
- Manage agency partners and US brand communications budgets.
- Travel: ~20% domestic and international.

Requirements:
- Minimum 12 years of biopharmaceutical communications experience and at least 3 years of US brand/product communications experience (preferably oncology).
- Exceptional written, verbal, and storytelling skills; ability to simplify complex science/business for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated experience developing/executing strategic communications programs aligned to product/brand objectives.
- Strong understanding of the US healthcare/biopharmaceutical landscape, including regulatory and policy considerations.
- Proficiency with digital communication tools, web, and social media.
- Knowledge of and interest in leveraging generative AI tools for communications.
- Strong project management skills; ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Bachelorโ€™s Degree required.

Preferred:
- At least 2 years of executive/leader communications experience.
- Experience managing internal and external communications, including thought leadership and employee engagement initiatives.
