Role Summary

Director, US Commercial Forecasting & Analytics - Epilepsy & Movement Disorder (Remote)

The Director, Commercial Forecasting & Analytics leads forecast and related business processes to inform decisions for Jazz Pharmaceuticals' Epilepsy & Movement Disorder (EMD) Franchise. The role partners with cross-functional groups to develop and maintain a viewpoint on commercial potential and investments, supporting strategic and operational planning in a matrix environment.

Responsibilities

  • Drive projects and workstreams independently, including complex, high-impact initiatives
  • Lead forecasting business processes, develop forecast scenarios and ranges for operational and strategic plans, identify uncertainties and risks, and summarize findings for senior leadership
  • Develop and maintain forecast and P&L models for marketed indications and pipeline programs
  • Strengthen connections to EURINT forecasts, calibrate US vs EURINT assumptions, and consolidate forecasts
  • Partner and influence in a matrixed structure across global and regional functions; incorporate diverse perspectives to inform decisions
  • Shape and inform consulting projects by collaborating with insights, analytics, and planning teams
  • Develop strategic analytics and communicate insights through effective graphics
  • Partner on corporate strategy initiatives and special projects as a brand and analytics expert
  • Maintain product factbooks based on market and product trends
  • Lead the annual SOX/audit process for financial reporting related to transfer pricing, intangibles, and deferred tax; coordinate with SMEs and external auditors
  • Ensure timely and transparent communication of forecasts, assumptions, rationale, and supporting information
  • Act as a thought partner for cross-functional leaders, leveraging industry and organizational knowledge

Qualifications

  • Required: Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in commercial forecasting, analytics, financial planning, or management consulting with a biopharma focus
  • Required: Direct experience in market, disease area, and product forecasting; ability to present a data-driven story with scenarios, forecasts, and P&L implications
  • Required: Proficient in building Excel-based forecast models and ad-hoc analyses
  • Required: Demonstrated cross-functional partnering and collaboration
  • Required: Leadership experience and ability to establish processes to align overlapping needs
  • Required: Comfort with ambiguity and ability to adapt approaches in a fluid environment
  • Required: Strong project management skills to plan and manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders
  • Required: Excellent communication and presentation skills with credibility across stakeholders
  • Preferred: MBA or advanced degree

Education

  • Bachelorβ€šΓ„Γ΄s Degree required; MBA preferred
