Responsibilities:
- Serve as expert PK/PD modeler on cross-functional teams to enable model-informed decisions for drug discovery, modality selection, and dose prediction.
- Integrate in vitro and in vivo data to build PBPK, QSP, or other mechanistic modeling platforms for forward/reverse translation across established and novel targets.
- Guide software developers to design automated workflows for implementing modeling platforms and informing PK/PD and dose projections.
- Collaborate to develop modeling and simulation strategies to identify and optimize drug candidates.
- Provide scientific guidance and supervision to a team; mentor junior colleagues.

Required:
- Ph.D. (or equivalent) with β‰₯7 years experience OR PharmD (or equivalent) with β‰₯9 years OR MS (or equivalent) with β‰₯11 years; experience in increasing responsibility/independence in drug discovery/development.
- Hands-on translational PKPD and PBPK modeling using standard tools (e.g., Matlab/SimBiology, OSP Suite, Simcyp, Gastroplus, Monolix, R) for biologics/protein therapeutics/peptides.
- Expert skills in mathematical problem solving, data analysis/interpretation, experimental design, and statistics.

Preferred:
- Experience leading interdisciplinary teams and overseeing scientists/software developers.
- Expertise developing novel translational modeling strategies or automated workflows using PBPK/QSP.

Required skills: PBPK modeling, PK/PD modeling, pharmacology, physiologically-based pharmacokinetics, data modeling, dose-response modeling, drug discovery process, MATLAB, stakeholder relationship management, therapeutic proteins.
