Role: Director of Translational Medicine within Immunology at Johnson & Johnson, leading early-phase clinical trials from design to Proof-of-Concept (PoC). Responsibilities: develop and execute translational strategies, lead cross-functional teams on phase 1 trials, oversee biomarker and patient segmentation strategies, support experimental medicine studies, and collaborate with academic sites. Also involved in external business development, providing scientific input for regulatory documents, and representing TM in project and governance meetings. Qualifications: MD or MD/PhD, minimum 3 years industry/translational research experience, proven leadership in clinical or research teams, with immunology and early clinical development expertise preferred. Experience with immune cell-based or biologic therapies and a strong publication record are advantageous. High-Value: focus on immunological disorders, early clinical development (phase 1 to PoC), biologics/immune therapies, with trans-Atlantic travel (~10%).
