Role Summary
Director, Transformation Program Lead
Responsibilities
- Lead governance and alignment for the GCC Transformation Portfolio, managing the cadence and operations of leadership forums including the Cross-Functional Executive Committee, Steering Committee, and cross-pillar working sessions.
- Oversee cross-functional program delivery, tracking milestones, dependencies, risks, and adoption progress across marketing, data, and technology functions.
- Drive integrated change management and communications across transformation programs, partnering with TWS and GCC Communications teams to align messaging, timelines, and change milestones.
- Support workforce and onboarding integration for the Amgen India (GCC-AIN) team build, ensuring communications reinforce Amgen’s Workforce Strategy and “Technology, Talent, and Ways of Working” narrative.
- Develop clear, compelling GCC transformation storytelling, connecting operational progress to enterprise strategy and GCO-level milestones.
- Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders (Havas, Deloitte, Cardinal Path, Accenture, etc.) to ensure seamless coordination across delivery teams.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior sponsors, providing insights and recommendations to drive strategic decisions and remove barriers to progress.
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree and 4 years of program and/or portfolio management experience
- Or Master’s degree and 7 years of program and/or portfolio management experience
- Or Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of program and/or portfolio management experience
- Preferred Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in program or portfolio management, ideally within marketing technology, digital transformation, or enterprise PMO environments
- Master’s degree in Business, Communications, or Technology Management
- Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that span business, data, and technology domains
- Strong skills in governance operations, stakeholder management, and executive-level communication
- Experience in integrated communications, onboarding, or change management supporting large-scale transformation programs
- A demonstrated ability to thrive in matrixed organizations—balancing structure and flexibility, while aligning diverse global teams toward shared outcomes
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other global regulated industries
- Familiarity with content operations, metadata/tagging, and digital asset management systems (CMS, DAM, Workfront)
- Experience partnering with global capability centers or offshore teams to manage onboarding and operational integration
