Director, Transcend R&D, BPO end to end

Role: Director of Transcend R&D BPO leading global business transformation within Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine division, focusing on streamlining R&D supply chain processes through SAP system standardization. Responsibilities: develop R&D capability roadmaps, lead process re-engineering, partner with senior R&D and supply chain leadership to define end-to-end process vision, influence portfolio decisions, and manage a team of BPOs across functions like study management, logistics, and manufacturing. Drive continuous improvements and ensure compliance-by-design. Requirements: Master’s degree in Business, Science, or Engineering; 10+ years in R&D, clinical supply chain, or enterprise transformation; experience with global process re-engineering, SAP S/4HANA, and regulated environments; strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. Preferred: certifications such as MBA, PMI, or Lean/Six Sigma; knowledge of GxP, SDLC/CSV; experience with Agile tools like Jira. High-Value: leading enterprise-scale change in regulated biopharma environments, with focus on clinical supply chain and R&D operations. Work setup involves domestic travel (~15%), based in PA or NJ.
