Position Summary:
- Develop and execute engagement strategies to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and accounts in the retina ecosystem.
- Drive strategic marketing initiatives that enhance organizational presence and gather valuable insights.
- Engage national, regional, and local retina thought leaders to elevate engagements, drive strategic collaborations, and enable meaningful exchange of insights.

Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain relationships with retina specialists, key accounts, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with professional societies to identify sponsorship opportunities and drive awareness/education.
- Represent the organization at national/regional/local conferences, advisory boards, and strategic meetings; support advisor and speaker selection and training.
- Develop engagement plans that include congress and field interactions.
- Develop and implement engagement strategies aligned with corporate objectives; identify partnership/collaboration/sponsorship opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to optimize stakeholder interactions; align with commercial team to extend retina congress strategy to regional/local opportunities.
- Support both strategic DSE and branded initiatives in partnership with marketing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align messaging; represent the organization at select speaking and customer engagements.
- Lead regional advisory boards to gather insights and drive scientific exchange; assist with identifying thought leaders.
- Monitor retina trends/advancements/competitive activities; synthesize external insights for decision-making and structured pre-/post-launch feedback.
- Recommend unmet needs and emerging opportunities; develop and execute advisory board plans pre-/post-launch.
- Partner with medical, commercial, and market access to ensure a cohesive engagement/insights strategy, including congresses, advisory boards, and peer-to-peer education.

Requirements:
- BA/BS required.
- Strong wet AMD disease state/clinical knowledge preferred.
- 5+ years experience working with eye care providers and retina specialists.
- 10+ years related pharma/biotech experience (sales, thought leadership, training) strongly preferred.
- Prior experience launching buy-an-bill drugs in ophthalmology/retina preferred.
- Proven stakeholder engagement, KOL management, or strategic partnerships.
- Strong knowledge of retina treatment trends/emerging therapies.
- Ability to lead by influence in cross-functional/matrix environments.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal/critical thinking skills.
- Experience with industry conferences, scientific exchange, and advocacy engagement.
- Strategic mindset; ability to analyze data and identify trends.
- Ability to identify access barriers and design resolution plans.
- Ensure compliance with corporate/industry policies in collaboration with Legal/Medical/Regulatory.
- Up to 50% domestic travel; car allowance included.

Compensation:
- Salary range: $250,000–$260,000 USD.
