Position Summary:
Director, TDOQ Sourcing and Procurement (San Diego, CA or Princeton, NJ).
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop global sourcing strategies/plans for TDOQ vendors across commercial supply chain, packaging/logistics, drug substance, drug formulation, quality assurance, and analytical development.
- Partner with TDOQ business stakeholders (including senior executives) to identify sourcing needs and align strategies with business goals.
- Assess, benchmark, and negotiate key vendor contracts; conduct gap analyses.
- Collaborate with Finance FP&A on vendor cost budgeting, forecasting, and saving validation.
- Monitor industry trends and evolving procurement technologies (e.g., AI) to improve sourcing automation.
- Establish vendor governance program with vendor optimization, risk assessment, and operational performance evaluation.
Education/Experience/Skills:
- Proven leadership managing large manufacturing and raw material vendor spend portfolios.
- Pharma environment experience with global supply chain/raw material vendors; ability to map/develop international vendors by product portfolio.
- 12+ years sourcing experience with commercial supply chain, drug formulation, APIs/excipients, and packaging (pharma/biotech).
- Strong negotiation and drug substance vendor benchmarking experience.
- Strong understanding of global vendor risks and mitigation planning.
- Proficiency with procurement systems (S2P/Coupa, CLM/Agiloft) and upcoming AI sourcing tools.
- Familiarity with sourcing savings reporting methodology/tools (e.g., Smartsheet).
- BS/BA or equivalent.

Compensation/Benefits (if applicable): Discretionary bonus and equity awards; salary range $178,000β$222,900 USD.
