Role: Lead the Target Biology team within Discovery Biology for a late-stage oncology company developing RAS-targeted therapies, including inhibitors for various oncogenic RAS mutations. Objectives: identify, prioritize, and validate novel oncology targets, advancing hit discovery and early lead generation for challenging cancer targets. Responsibilities: manage and mentor a team of scientists, collaborate cross-functionally with Medicinal Chemistry, Structural Biology, Translational Research, and Cancer Immunology to implement hit identification strategies, and leverage innovative approaches such as molecular glues and multi-omics. Requirements: PhD in chemical biology, cell biology, biochemistry, or related; 10+ years industry experience in early-stage drug discovery; proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills; strong experimental design and data interpretation capabilities. Preferred: experience with molecular glues, phenotypic screening, AI/ML applications, multi-omics, genetic screens, and multiple modalities including biologics.
