Responsibilities
- Lead digital transformation initiatives for supply chain planning and inventory, identifying AI/technology solutions to improve data-driven decision-making.
- Oversee implementation and management of data/technology solutions integrating insights across the Vertex network for planning and inventory activities (on time, within budget, required quality).
- Capture and prioritize AI/data/technology demand from supply chain stakeholders.
- Partner with data, infrastructure, software, and security teams to estimate, design, plan, and deliver supply chain digital solutions.
- Assess business processes; recommend technology solutions; deliver functional/technical requirements meeting compliance and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate end-user communications/training to ensure adoption and value from solutions.
- Lead and develop a high-performing, diverse team; communicate with senior leadership and stakeholders; represent RPMS in cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications / Required Skills
- Deep experience designing/implementing data and technology solutions across clinical and commercial supply chain environments.
- Expertise in data management/automation; ability to adopt emerging tech (AI/ML, agentic).
- Proficiency with supply chain planning/inventory tools (e.g., Rapid Response, OPM) and strong grasp of business processes/technology.
- Strong analytics, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication.
- Advanced certifications in AI/product/agile/software engineering/cloud/leadership (preferred).

Education / Experience
- BS in Engineering/Computer Science (MS/PhD preferred).
- 10+ years in manufacturing or supply chain management (biotech/pharma).
- Track record optimizing digital manufacturing control systems/data flows and leading teams.
- GMP and regulatory/industry standards experience; modalities experience (small molecule, cell therapy, gene therapy).
- Familiarity with SCOR, GS1, ISA-95, ISO 8000, UN/CEFACT, EDI (X12/EDIFACT).
- Travel up to 10%.

Compensation
- $198,000–$297,000 base; eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards.

Flex Designation
- Hybrid (remote up to 2 days/week) or On-Site (5 days/week with ad hoc flexibility).
