Director, Strategic Partnerships & Business Operations

Role: Director of Strategic Partnerships and Business Operations overseeing global genetic and health data licensing collaborations, ensuring compliance, governance, and risk management. Responsibilities: monitor and manage compliance across 155+ collaborations; develop and operationalize data governance policies; oversee privacy, legal, and security collaborations; lead and develop compliance teams; work cross-functionally with legal, IT, research, and business units. Requirements: Master's degree in Genetics, Business, Legal, Bioethics, or Life Sciences, or equivalent experience with 15+ years in contract compliance, alliance management, or research data governance; at least 10 years in related roles, with 5+ focused on genetic or health data within biopharma or biotech. High-Value: expertise in genomic data governance frameworks, international privacy laws (NIH Genomic Data Sharing Policy, GA4GH standards); experience managing compliance teams; strong communication skills for scientific and executive audiences. Work Setup: On-site in Tarrytown, NY or Cambridge, MA, with a 4-day onsite work model.
