Position Summary
Strategic Engagement Director (SED), Rheumatology (field-based). Responsible for building and nurturing strategy with US KOLs; understanding Rheumatology community dynamics; advancing Zenas educational offerings; building treater advocacy and driving internal focus on KOL engagement. Reports to Senior Director, Strategic Engagement.

Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage US Commercial engagement plans for leading US KOLs, including objectives and measurement against goals.
- Establish and nurture relationships with US KOLs nationally; support KOL engagements with US Commercial Team, Senior Leadership, and Executive Committee throughout the year and at congresses.
- Partner with KOLs and treating physicians to identify and refine peer-to-peer program offerings.
- Once approved, maintain promotional speaker bureau: recruit speakers, train on approved promotional slide decks, coordinate annual speaker training with HCP marketing, and support completion of annual compliance training.
- Partner with HCP marketing team to execute commercial HCP advisory boards (advisor selection, input on objectives and content).
- Partner with HCP marketing team on content development for peer-to-peer engagements and congress symposia.
- Build and nurture relationships with cross-functional partners, including medical affairs and field teams.

Qualifications
- BS/BA degree.
- 10+ years biotech/pharma experience.
- Rheumatology experience required; rare disease experience a plus.
- Sales or customer-facing experience preferred.
- Strong relationships with physicians/HCPs.
- Growth/change mindset; proactive issue-solving and alternative solutions.
- Integrity and compliance awareness; ability to lead cross-functional execution.
- Strong communication/influencing skills; ability to manage project budgets.
- Ability to travel 50–75% (including cross-country).
