Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional programmes aligned to Data & Digital and Biomedical Research strategic priorities.
- Own execution of critical initiatives, with clear accountability for outcomes, timelines, dependencies and intended value.
- Act as central delivery leader for high-priority initiatives; identify, escalate and mitigate risks and delivery challenges.
- Maintain an enterprise-wide view of the delivery portfolio; identify interdependencies, bottlenecks and optimisation opportunities.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to align strategic priorities with execution plans and ensure value realisation.
- Define and evolve delivery frameworks; select/adapt Agile, project or hybrid models.
- Lead and AI-enable a high-performing project and programme management capability.
- Drive delivery excellence through governance, standards and continuous improvement.
- Provide decision-focused reporting on progress, risks, dependencies and required interventions.
- Ensure initiatives embed information security, quality and risk standards from planning through completion.

Qualifications / Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Informatics, Data Science or related field; Master’s strongly preferred.
- Formal training in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master).
- 10+ years delivering complex technology programmes in pharma/biotech.
- 6+ years leading and developing high-performing global teams in senior leadership capacity.
- Proven delivery of large-scale, cross-functional initiatives with measurable business and scientific outcomes.
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives and competing stakeholder demands.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior/executive stakeholders.
- Good understanding of global research organisations and drug discovery/development environments.

Desirable
- Experience with life sciences organisations (pharma/biotech/CRO/technology) supporting data/informatics/digital platforms in complex global matrix environments.

Benefits
- Salary expected: $160,300–$297,700/year (final based on skills/experience; reviewed periodically).
- Performance-based cash incentive; possible eligibility for annual equity awards.
