Primary Responsibilities And Duties
- Access and Engagement Planning: Develop and execute access and engagement plans for assigned strategic accounts aligned with company strategy to ensure performance targets are exceeded.
- Relationship Management: Partner with C-suite, Pharmacy, Value/Procurement, and Formulary/P&T/Pathway decision makers, as well as specialty GPO teams and other population health stakeholders, to ensure timely product access, optimal product positioning, and contract pull-through (where appropriate).
- Negotiation: Develop, present, and implement approved business case proposals.
- Communication: Prepare and present strategic account performance, market insights/trends, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams to support transparent and impactful planning and account engagement.
- Event Management: Drive projects to support Market Access event sponsorship, exhibiting logistics, marketing messaging, and budget management for assigned special interest groups.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelorβs degree (Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or business-related field preferred).
- 8+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare/healthcare consulting/technology or related cross-functional roles.
- 3β5 years strategic account management experience (Academic Medical Centers, Integrated Health Systems, GPOs, and/or large community oncology networks).
- 2+ years project management and translating strategy into execution.
- 2+ years leading complex projects with cross-functional/national alignment.
- Proven contract negotiation and implementation success (including financial analytics).
- Superior written, oral, and group communication skills.
- Experience in Buy and Bill reimbursement environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently; influence without positional authority.
- Effective problem-solving and recommendation/solution generation.
