Director, Statistical Programming

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership for portfolio delivery and ensure Statistical Programming delivery with high quality and efficiency.
- Act as Cluster Head: create and implement delivery strategies for seamless project delivery.
- Lead statistical programming activities across an indication/disease area, ensuring quality and timeliness.
- Set tasks and prioritization across the indication/disease area; engage cross-functionally to progress work.
- Lead recruitment and retention strategies for Statistical Programming in collaboration with Statistical Programming LT, HR, and Talent Acquisition.
- Lead indication/disease-area level statistical programming strategies.
- Provide comprehensive programming leadership and support to complex clinical project teams and vendors, including deployment of programming strategies, standards/specifications, and programmed analyses to comply with regulatory requirements, SOPs, and work practices.
- Provide guidance on innovative strategies/technologies for clinical trial programming at program level.
- Lead process improvement initiatives and drive efficiency; challenge status quo as appropriate.
- Member of Extended Statistical Programming Leadership Team.
- Functional management/people leadership: set objectives, manage performance, coach/feedback; support evaluation and recruitment.

Minimum Requirements:
- MS with ~10+ years industry experience.
- BS with ~12+ years industry experience.
- Proven track record of leading business process transformations and organizational culture change; driving programming expertise on complex deliverables.
- Proven track record of attracting and retaining talent.
- Pharmaceutical drug development operational experience with significant direct exposure to clinical development.
- Health care business acumen and comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficient knowledge of drug development process, clinical trial methodology, regulatory guidance, industry standards, statistical concepts, and medical terminology used in analysis/submission.
