Location: Cambridge, MA

Responsibilities:
- Drive design and implementation of computational strategy to infer causal disease mechanisms using human genetics and other data types (e.g., Mendelian randomization with proteomics, TWAS, colocalization).
- Lead cross-biobank analyses to identify mechanisms underlying human genetic risk factors (e.g., LD score regression, eQTL mapping, scRNAseq).
- Coordinate with research stakeholders to enable use of germline genetics for discovery in neuro, immunology, and cardiovascular disease.
- Evaluate and prioritize multi-modal, disease-specific datasets to understand causal human biology.
- Coordinate target nomination, evaluation, and advancement.
- Communicate findings and recommend follow-up actions (1:1s, seminars, project meetings, external publications).

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s with 15+ years, or Masterโ€™s with 12+ years, or PhD with 8+ years (academic/industry).
- 6+ years leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- PhD in statistical genetics (or related quantitative discipline).
- 8+ years postdoctoral/industry experience.
- Experience applying genetics to drug discovery.
- Expertise with GWAS/exWAS, Mendelian Randomization, colocalization, polygenic risk scores.
- Hands-on R or Python; familiarity with functional genomics.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary team projects; managerial/mentorship experience.

Compensation & Benefits (as stated): $239,890โ€“$290,687 base (Cambridge Crossing). Health, wellbeing, financial protection, and paid time off (details provided in posting).
