Director / Sr. Director, Program Management

Responsibilities:
- Provide project management expertise to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to create and manage integrated implementation plans aligned with the Product Development Plan and budget.
- Lead day-to-day planning, coordination, and tracking; create/maintain project timelines.
- Plan, facilitate, and follow up on project team meetings; provide minutes and drive action items.
- Anticipate and manage issues; understand project scope, schedule, resources; use PM tools to support communication.
- Create and drive integrated program timelines (Gantt charts) and maintain/communicate critical path activities.
- Optimize team effectiveness and decision-making; proactively identify and resolve program team challenges.
- Perform risk assessments and drive mitigation plan implementation.
- Drive information flow; create regular status reports (milestones, status, issues, decisions) to senior management.
- Assist Finance with program budget compilation/tracking; ensure assigned resources are adequate and identify constraints.
- Maintain documentation and reporting platforms (e.g., SharePoint/shared folders).
- Collaborate on governance meetings; manage relationships with China-based stakeholders.
- Organize lessons learned sessions; serve as resource to other Program Managers; may manage junior PM staff.
- Support continuous improvement of the Program Management Department via new tools/processes.

Qualifications:
- BA/BS required; PharmD/PhD highly desirable.
- 10+ years industry experience; minimum 5 years PM experience in cross-functional pharma/biotech teams.
- Deep understanding of drug development process.
- Excellent planning, organization, analytical skills; strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships in matrix environments.
- Ability to drive plans/timelines across multiple functions; proven goal setting, prioritization, time management.
- Experience with PM planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet).
- Strong leadership, facilitation, teamwork, influence/negotiation; proactive mindset.
- Ability to work independently; resolve program obstacles.
- Excellent verbal/written communication.
- Plus: oncology and/or autoimmune experience; cell therapy experience; PMP preferred.
