Role Summary

The Senior Director, Patient Services Strategy for Incyte’s Immunology Patient Access Services (PAS) is responsible for translating patient journey insights and brand strategies to define, launch and evaluate program model strategies and service offerings. This role designs, builds, and scales Incyte’s Immunology Patient Support Services, leading all Patient Access Services launch planning to deliver patient-focused support solutions. Reports to the Executive Director, Patient Access Services, Immunology.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build of Incyte’s Patient Access Services capabilities, optimizing existing capabilities and building new strategies in anticipation of upcoming product launches for Dermatology and Immunology.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure program offerings are aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement a patient-centric strategy and program enhancements to optimize patient and provider experience.
  • Conduct Adboards and liaise with market research to identify insights and trends in patient access and provider needs to inform ongoing optimization.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop patient access and support materials; represent Patient Access Services in legal, medical, and regulatory review processes.
  • Create and maintain communication guidelines for Patient Access Services (call guides, templates, messages, etc.).
  • Establish models to achieve brand-specific patient access objectives at launch and throughout the product lifecycle; ensure systems provide optimal access support for patients and HCPs at launch.
  • Support annual brand planning with data-driven insights into patient support programs.
  • Participate in brand steering committees providing patient support program expertise in the overall brand plan for new integrated programs.
  • Translate patient journey insights and brand strategies to define care model strategies and drive execution for new launch assets.
  • Assess care model strategy and direct insight discovery activities for integrated programs and enhancements.
  • Support the pull-through of the care model strategic plan across the PAS organization and with cross-functional partners.
  • Monitor industry trends in patient access and patient support to ensure innovative programs and services.
  • Identify and manage digital vendor partners to support optimal patient and customer experience and flexible communication.
  • Lead cross-functional workstreams and communications related to Patient Access Services.
  • Ensure patient support programs comply with applicable regulations (OIG, CMS, and industry standards).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; MBA, Marketing, or RN preferred.
  • Extensive experience developing and managing biopharmaceutical patient support programs (PSPs), with manufacturers or outsourced vendors.
  • Extensive experience in patient and/or Market Access in the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Ability to partner with Brand teams to deliver PSPs that maximize patient access compliantly.
  • Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements for PSPs.
  • Recent go-to-market experience launching new products.
  • Ability to analyze data and performance metrics to identify gaps and opportunities for program improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects on budget and on time; strong change-management and leadership skills.
  • Experience managing complex vendor relationships; ability to identify themes in data and make recommendations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
