The Regeneron Genetics Center (RGC) is a uniquely integrated research initiative that seeks to improve patient care by using genomic data to speed drug discovery and development. The Director, Solutions Architect, is responsible for RGC’s software architecture. They will help shape solutions on RGC’s cloud and data platforms working on the cutting-edge technology and grappling with big data in support of world-leading genetic data generation and analysis of millions of genotyped and sequenced humans.
To be considered for the Director, Solutions Architect, you must have 12+ years of in-depth experience in Cloud, Data platforms, and other relevant areas. Expertise in implementing systems architecture at enterprise level. Solid understanding of Agile, Lean and DevOps practices and experience architecting in environments using these methodologies. A proven track record interpreting technical needs, ensuring methodologies meet process standards, and quantifying business/financial impact. Demonstrated leadership and partnering skills, plus excellent verbal and written communication skills, with focus on informing, influencing and relationship building. Strong project management and coordination skills with proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and manage multiple projects. AWS and other related certifications are a plus.
