Role Summary

Director – Software Product Management, Enterprise AI Orchestration. Lead the strategy and execution for enterprise AI orchestration, defining how Lilly deploys, manages, and optimizes AI agents and workflows at scale. Own the product roadmap and capabilities that sit above existing AI platforms to transform enterprise AI adoption in pharmaceuticals.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy and Vision: Define and drive the enterprise AI orchestration strategy; enable measurement of Digital Worker Impact (DWI) and AI workforce ROI; establish governance models; partner with C-suite to align AI workforce strategy with business transformation goals.
  • Product Development: Own the PharmAI platform roadmap and associated orchestration capabilities; define integration strategies to create a unified AI ecosystem; set standards for agent interoperability and workflow orchestration; drive development of domain-specific AI studios.
  • Enterprise Enablement: Create playbooks and frameworks for business units to build and manage AI workforces; establish Centers of Excellence; define success metrics and KPIs; build executive dashboards for governance and visibility.
  • Organizational Leadership: Monitor industry trends; influence enterprise-wide AI adoption and change management; partner on AI workforce planning; lead cross-functional steering committees; serve as spokesperson for enterprise AI orchestration.

Qualifications

  • Required: Demonstrated ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and drive organizational change.
  • Required: Excellence in strategic thinking with ability to translate vision into executable roadmaps.
  • Required: Strong business acumen with experience in ROI modeling and business case development.
  • Required: Outstanding communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to business audiences.
  • Required: Advanced technical degree.
  • Required: Experience in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or regulated industries.
  • Required: Background in enterprise automation, RPA, or workflow orchestration platforms.
  • Required: Experience with organizational change management and digital transformation.
  • Required: Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements (21 CFR Part 11, GxP).
  • Required: Experience building and managing product teams.
  • Preferred: Track record of thought leadership through publications, speaking engagements, or patents.
