Director / Senior Director, IT Operations & Enterprise Services

Responsibilities
- Lead IT operations, enterprise services, end-user support, infrastructure operations, and day-to-day technology service delivery.
- Maintain a scalable support model across HQ, offices, lab environments, remote workers, and future field-based roles.
- Own service management/ITSM (ServiceNow): intake, routing, prioritization, escalation, metrics, reporting, knowledge management, and continuous improvement.
- Improve employee technology experience (onboarding/offboarding, access provisioning, device readiness, collaboration tools, recurring support).
- Oversee physical and cloud infrastructure (networks, servers, storage, cloud services, backup/recovery coordination, enterprise platforms).
- Support facility-connected technology (office spaces, meeting rooms, labs, shared workspaces) with Facilities/Lab Ops/vendors.
- Enable distributed workforce support (connectivity, device management, secure access, collaboration tools, onboarding, responsive support).
- Oversee endpoint/device management, asset lifecycle planning, and productivity platforms (Microsoft 365/Teams/SharePoint, Zoom, Box, Adobe).
- Lead IT PMO for material IT projects and cross-functional initiatives (intake, prioritization, planning, status/risk/issue management, decision tracking, escalation, roadmap/pipeline visibility, governance coordination).
- Manage vendors/managed services/consultants; partner with cybersecurity/compliance on security, access control, audit readiness, business continuity/disaster recovery, and regulated-system needs.
- Develop/manage IT operations and tooling budgets; maintain runbooks/policies/service and project documentation for consistent/audit-ready execution.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (IT/CS/Engineering or related); advanced degree/certifications preferred.
- 10+ years progressive IT experience with leadership across IT operations, infrastructure, enterprise services, ITSM, PMO/project delivery, or end-user support.
- Experience in growth-stage biotech/pharma/life sciences/healthcare (regulated environment) preferred.
- Strong experience with scalable IT ops, service management, infrastructure, endpoint management, identity/access, backup/recovery, collaboration tools, facilities tech, and IT asset lifecycle.
- ServiceNow/ITSM experience strongly preferred.
- Project governance/PMO practices and cross-functional delivery coordination experience.
- Vendor/budget/licensing/operational technology spend management experience.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity/compliance/access control/disaster recovery/audit readiness; ability to partner with security/compliance leaders.

Washington State Pay Range: $210,110 - $290,464 USD
