Role: Senior leadership position as Director/Senior Director of In Vitro Biology and Molecular Pharmacology, directing strategy and execution for small molecule drug discovery programs targeting challenging, undrugged targets and novel modalities. Responsibilities: set strategic direction, oversee hit finding campaigns across DEL, fragment screening, HTS/MTS, and chemoproteomics; provide scientific oversight for complex target classes; manage in vitro assay development and translatability challenges; lead cross-disciplinary collaborations; manage CRO partnerships including budgets and KPIs; develop team and identify technology needs. Qualifications: PhD in relevant discipline; 10+ years in industry drug discovery with leadership experience; proven expertise in developing assays for difficult targets and multiple hit finding modalities; deep biochemical, biophysical, and cellular assay knowledge; experience managing CROs. Preferred: familiarity with protein degraders (PROTACs), data platforms like LiveDesign, and in vivo PK/PD studies.
