Role Summary
Director/Senior Director, Field Enablement will lead coordination and execution of key field operations functions, including Veeva ecosystem management, ongoing alignment changes, sample operations, fleet and vehicle reimbursement operations, and field customer service. The role reports to the SVP, Commercial Operations. It is based at Axsomeโs headquarters in New York City with an on-site requirement of at least three days per week; remote candidates will not be considered.
Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional team to optimize and manage field team alignments, including sales, MSL, FRM and RMK.
- Leverage CRM/SFA systems to full capabilities while maintaining the Veeva ecosystem.
- Manage the Veeva partnership as the primary point person for the entire ecosystem, supporting internal stakeholders with new capabilities.
- Collaborate with the broader Commercial team to improve existing processes and implement new workflows in Veeva CRM to enable the sales reps to be more productive.
- Manage sample operations across all products and continually improve the processes in close partnership with Qpharma.
- Collaborate with DCE team on evolution of omnichannel capabilities by providing thought leadership on Veeva ecosystem and usage/adoption.
- Act as a liaison with Corporate Compliance to ensure all systems support field representatives and meet compliance requirements.
- Manage Fleet/FAVR programs to support all field-based personnel.
Qualifications
- Required: 10+ years of sales operations experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry (which may include work as a consultant or supplier to the industry).
- Required: Ability to work on site Monday, Tuesday & Thursday. We are unable to consider candidates who are looking for fully remote roles.
- Preferred: Experience in CNS therapeutic area is preferred.
- Experience in Sales Force Design, Alignment, Targeting, Call Planning, and Incentive Compensation.
- Experience in omnichannel planning.
- Experience supporting Veeva CRM applications.
- Understands key pharmaceutical data sources (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony) and data structures to produce insights.
- Ability to operate in ambiguous situations and determine focused objectives and a clear path forward in the face of open questions.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong team player with ability to manage conflicting priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to work with many cross-functional partners.
- Ability to interact and communicate with all levels in the organization.
- Ability to balance multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously.
Education
- Bachelorโs Degree required.
