Director / Senior Director: Drug Discovery & Target Identification (LNP-mRNA Platform / "Drug Hunter")

Role: Senior/Director-level Drug Hunter leading Target Identification and Drug Discovery within Translational Biology, focusing on expanding LNP-mRNA platforms for therapeutic protein delivery across various diseases. Responsibilities include overseeing target prioritization based on scientific, drugability, and medical need criteria; managing and scaling discovery pipelines; integrating next-generation technologies and AI; formulating biological hypotheses; advancing projects into preclinical studies; and collaborating cross-functionally to develop novel drug candidates. Requirements: PhD with 12–15+ years in pharma/biotech targeting drug discovery, proven success in target validation and pipeline advancement, extensive experience with animal models, pharmacodynamics, and translational biomarkers, and familiarity with platform technologies like mRNA, RNA medicines, or LNP delivery. Preferred: strong background in drug development across multiple therapeutic areas, advanced tech and AI applications, and experience managing discovery portfolios in matrix environments.
